Words from happy alumni
Will wanted to undertake a structured course of study that would help him to prepare for the DALF exam, but also in which he could explore themes that were of real interest to him all while practicing his French.
David had been working independently with occasional italki tutors for conversation practice. He was struggling with speaking (hesitant with long pauses, difficulty in sentence construction and conjugations).
The most welcome outcome of our work together has also been the most unexpected one, namely that I now have a better understanding of my learning style (which is not nearly as strict, disciplined, and ‘by the book’ as I had been forcing myself to be).
Most useful to me has been the lesson plan that we designed in collaboration, which gives me a clear sense of progression and structure, and yet leaves plenty of room for my input and for flexibility.
advanced level
If I had to pick out one thing that might have been the most useful, I would point to an increased confidence in speaking, thanks to Cathy’s encouragement and her specific advise not to backtrack mentally to my previous mistakes when I’m trying to speak.
intermediate level
Do you know where the REAL problem is coming from?
Most people assume they need to do more to speak better:
more exercises, more lessons, more speaking practice.
Of course, it's true, you need to learn a bit of theory and have lots of practice.
But is what you're doing really helping you reach your goals?
That's the first thing you need to clearly identify.
Learning French isn't easy. Why are you putting yourself through this? Why will you keep showing up day after day after day until you reach a level you're satisfied with?
Maybe you already know enough
Yes, you need to know how to conjugate verbs, build sentences and develop your vocabulary. But you can't learn everything all at once. And, hear that, you don't need to do it in a specific order, from page 0 to the end of the manual (most likely giving up halfway, or powering through and forgetting half of it).
Sometimes, what you need to speak better isn't more grammar but, sometimes, it helps to know more. So, how do you know what you really need?
No matter how many conversations you do, you don't feel you're getting better
If you're stuck, doing more of the same won't help. You need to take stock of what you've been doing and plan a more productive French action plan. Have you got tools to analyze your learning process?
If learning French feels like running up a hill, never reaching the summit ― frustrating, hopeless, not rewarding ― I'm here for you
French is hard but I know you don't want to give up. Speaking French better would make a difference in your life, right?
Whether you're learning it to feel more integrated in your daily life in a Francophone community,
Or you need to pass an exam,
Or you want to accomplish something for yourself (learning French may be a hobby for you but it does bring you joy amidst the frustrations, doesn't it?)
You know that learning a language is one of the best use of your time you can make in this day and age.
But you want to do it in a sustainable way.
First, learning a language is good for your brain, keep it healthy longer.
Second, we need more cross-cultural communication and intercultural awareness to face the challenges the world faces. We don't need more chatbots (although AI can help practice French to a certain extent), we need more human-to-human conversations.
But we also need to take care of ourselves and not add to our mental load.
... understand how the brain learns and how to overcome mental blocks?
... learn how to set goals that work and that fit your own style?
... explore your vision and refine it, precise it until it feels doable and the “how” becomes more obvious?
... know what level you're at and know yourself better as a learner and a speaker?
... walk out of the program with your personalised study plan?
... work hand in hand with a coach without committing to a coaching package for months?
✨✨And you'll even practice your French conversation in a small-sized group facilitated by a certified coach ✨✨
(a special addition only available with this Black Friday Special Offer)!
If that feels a little too good to be true, allow me to introduce myself…

advanced level
Before the program, I was doing a lot of scattered things but I didn’t really have a clear direction so I sometimes felt like I was stagnating. With the roadmap, I was able to analyze my learning and set goals that guide my choices for studying. I can also take initiative in the work I do with my tutors to receive practice and feedback aligned with my goals.
The introspective part of the program made me think about aspects of language learning that were new to me and that I had never thought about before.
This coaching program combines 1:1 coaching with self-paced learning.
It helps you overcome the feeling of stagnation by adopting good habits fostering progress.
In this exclusive Black Friday Offer, you're getting the following
At the start | Motivation (identifying your vision) and language diagnostic to provide you with insights about your level, strengths and weaknesses
(45 to 60 minutes)
Final debrief if you complete all the steps of the program (20-30 minutes within 6 months of buying the program)
Short videos on brain-friendly effective learning, motivation and best practices.
Explore to a greater extent your motivation, learning preferences and mental blocks.
We tackle both communication issues (eg: fear of speaking) and organisation hacks (eg: finding your “French routine”).
Feedback on the assignments you submit
Recommendations of resources in French or English that suit your style and level
Possibility to ask your coach any question during the program and for 3 months after (via email or WhatsApp)
2 meetings in December, 2 in January.

I’ve been teaching and coaching French learners since 2017. I'm also a seasoned - and imperfect! - language learner. Whatever challenge you’re facing, I’ve been there, and I’ll help you overcome the obstacles on your way with patience, kindness and honesty
The difference between MY resources and other online coaches and teachers'?
I don't believe there's a "best method" that works for everyone. The perfect method that'll work for you is a mix of different things. (This is probably why you’ve bought online courses promising you one thing in the past, or maybe you're juggling randomly between courses and apps, and each time you end up disappointed or gave up altogether.)
I want to help you create your own magic formula. The one that's sustainable and will make you a happy productive French learner.
With my educational background, my training as a Neurolanguage Coach and my highly analytical mind, I’m really good at breaking down complex concepts (like the brain and French grammar) and also at helping people find the main obstacle really blocking them (not necessarily the one you think it is, there's usually a layer underneath).
The French Fluency Framework is practical, caters to learners of all levels from mid-intermediate (B1 and above), and will leave you plenty of opportunities to apply what you'll learn. You'll receive personalised feedback on your assignments to check your comprehension, and explanations to fill the gaps.
I’m confident you’ll not only learn how to learn more efficiently and the theory behind developing more self-confidence ― but you'll actually start to apply these best practices right away to transform how you're learning French.
upper-intermediate level
I was nervous about speaking in French with native speakers. After taking the program, I feel like I’ve unblocked myself. My confidence has increased, I feel like I speak more naturally and I participate more in French interactions so it also helps me improve my listening comprehension.
I even spoke in French during a doctor’s visit!
My goal for this program was to work on my confidence and fluency. I have made progress. I have a clearer idea of how to organize my work and I already know my next goals.
You have many passions and a busy life.
You sometimes feel overwhelmed by everything you have to do to improve your French.
You love to learn, but you can't devote more than a few minutes to "school-like" activities (exercises, vocabulary lists...) and you feel guilty.
You don't have the time or mental space to study sitting at a desk every day.
You're at an intermediate level, able to communicate in most everyday situations, but you don't know how to move beyond this plateau to the next level.
Maybe you're working with a tutor but you feel you've stopped progressing.
The videos are in French, subtitles available in English and French (or automatic translation to other languages)
It's not suitable for beginners. You need to be able to hold a conversation in French. Since you know the topics of the group conversations and can prepare in advance, you may join from mid-intermediate level (B1 and above).
You also need a certain level in listening comprehension to be able to follow the discussions. If you can follow my YouTube videos and podcast (you understands at least 75%), you'll be perfectly fine!
Upon signing-up, you'll receive an e-mail to explain how to book your first appointment with Cathy.
I recommend doing it within the first 2 weeks of starting the program so you can get a clear overview of your level of spoken French, your strengths and weaknesses.
If you finish all the assignments by the end of January, you'll receive another link to book a debrief session.
There will be 2 in December and 2 in January, most likely on Saturdays or Sundays but dates and times will be confirmed after registrations are closed.
Plan to spend a couple of hours a week on the course material and journaling activities over a one-month period.
Each live meeting will last 60 minutes.
I recommend planning the initial diagnostic within 10 days after starting the program (so, before mid-December).
It's not necessary at first but, as you progress with the creation of your study plan, you may want to test certain activities and methods mentioned in the course in parallel to the program.
Take advantage of the 3-months support to test your study plan, practice French and ask questions to your coach.
Find all the information on the French Fluency Framework Self-paced curriculum at the bottom of this page
You have lifetime access to the self-paced course French Fluency Framework.
You can redo this course over and over as you progress along your learning path and encounter roadblocks. For example, refer to module 2 if you encounter difficulties with motivation, procrastination or planning and need to find a new routine. Or refer to module 5 if your inner saboteurs come back to pay you a visit (which they do on a regular basis, let’s be honest, we’re humans and imperfect after all).
Language learning is a lifelong project. After French, you may want to take on another challenge and learn another language. The learning process is broadly the same, but you may need to make a few adjustments. The program can help you here too. Our trajectory is never a straight line. This course is like having a coach available at any time, inviting you to self-reflect in order to move forward.
Access to French lessons and exercises in La Bibliothèque online expires at the end of March 2025.
Get a full refund within 7 days (as long as you haven't completed the initial 1:1 diagnostic). No questions asked.
If you cancel within 24 hours after the completion of the initial 1:1 diagnostic, maximum refund of 50%. No refund past this date.
